Widen the search and something usually turns up.

Agriculture Managers oversee the daily operations of farms, ranches, orchards, nurseries, and other agricultural establishments. The work involves planning production schedules, managing budgets and staff, coordinating planting and harvesting activities, maintaining equipment, liaising with suppliers and buyers, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Problems range from pest outbreaks and irrigation failures to labour shortages and fluctuating commodity prices.

Employers typically require a degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field, along with several years of hands-on farming or production experience. Many managers have grown up in agricultural families or worked their way up from labourer or supervisor roles.

These positions exist across family-owned farms, large commercial operations, agribusiness corporations, and government research facilities, usually at mid-to-senior level with significant operational responsibility.
