2 Vehicle Mechanics and Technicians Jobs in Kuwait

Diagnostics begin before the coffee cools, and every repair moves between what the scanner shows and what years of pattern recognition suggest.

The work involves diagnosing faults in cars, vans, trucks and other vehicles, then repairing or replacing faulty components—everything from brake systems and engines to electrical circuits and emission controls. Most tasks require methodical testing with diagnostic equipment, hands-on repair using specialised tools, and accurate record-keeping for compliance and warranty purposes.

Employers typically require a relevant qualification such as an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a City & Guilds certificate, plus experience working on the vehicle types they service. Many technicians complete apprenticeships that combine on-the-job training with classroom study.

These roles sit in franchised dealerships, independent garages, fleet maintenance operations, HGV workshops and tyre and exhaust centres, ranging from trainee and technician positions through to master technician and workshop supervisor levels.
