Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join a well-established ophthalmology healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have prior scrub nursing experience, preferably within an ophthalmology or eye-care setting.

Candidates with relevant nursing experience who demonstrate strong clinical skills and a willingness to work in an ophthalmology environment are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients before, during, and after procedures.
Assist ophthalmic surgeons during surgical procedures as a Scrub Nurse.
Prepare and maintain the operating room, surgical instruments, and required equipment.
Ensure proper sterilization and infection-control protocols are followed.
Assist with patient preparation and positioning prior to procedures.
Monitor patients and provide appropriate post-operative nursing care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and nursing records.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and healthcare standards.
Provide patients with appropriate pre-operative and post-operative instructions.
Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach at all times.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse qualification and relevant professional license/eligibility to practice in the UAE.
Previous clinical nursing experience.
Scrub experience is required/preferred.
Experience in ophthalmology or eye surgery will be a strong advantage.
Good knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and surgical procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a clinical and surgical environment.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse with scrub nursing experience, particularly in ophthalmology/eye-care procedures. However, candidates with strong general nursing experience and relevant clinical skills may also be considered.
