E-commerce Trading Executive

  • Dyson
  • Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • AED 216,000 – AED 300,000

About the role:

This role sits at the heart of Dyson MEA's day-to-day direct eCommerce operations. The eCommerce Trading Executive is responsible for executing the trading agenda across Dyson.com markets in the region; ensuring NPD launches land on time, promotional activity is live and correct, site standards are maintained, and performance is tracked and reported consistently.

This is an execution-first role that requires someone highly organised, commercially curious, and comfortable working across multiple markets simultaneously. In the role you will thrive in a fast-moving environment, take genuine ownership of their tasks, and grow into broader commercial responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Trading Execution & Calendar Management

  • Work together with the eCommerce manager on the day-to-day trading calendar across all MEA .com markets: coordinating NPD launches, promotional go-lives, and key trade moments to ensure everything is delivered on time and to brief

  • Brief distributor and platform teams on promotional mechanics: GWPs, bundles, discount codes, and exclusive windows, and confirm correct implementation before go-live

  • Track daily and weekly trading performance across all relevant markets, flagging any underperformance, stock issues, or site errors to the Manager with a recommended action

  • Maintain the trade plan and promotional calendar, keeping it current and shared with all relevant stakeholders ahead of each month

  • Coordinate with the Traffic and CRM Manager to ensure trading activity is supported by the right media and lifecycle activation at each key moment

Site Operations & Content

  • Ensure homepage consistency across all .com markets: correct hero banners, featured products, promotional messaging, and NPD placement in line with brand standards and markets’ priorities

  • Manage content updates across distributor-operated .coms: briefing updates for product pages, category pages, and campaign landing pages, and checking quality before and after go-live

  • Conduct regular site health checks across all markets: pricing accuracy, stock availability, broken links, outdated content, and any UX issues; and escalate to the relevant team for resolution

  • Support the launch of new .com markets as the regional footprint expands, coordinating content readiness, testing, and go-live checks

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Prepare the weekly trading summary for each market: units vs target, revenue, conversion rate, AOV, top and bottom SKUs; with clear commentary on key drivers and actions

  • Track promotional spend vs budget across markets on a weekly basis, flagging any over or underspend to the eCommerce Manager

  • Contribute to the monthly eCommerce trading review: preparing market-level performance slides and flagging challenges, risks, and upcoming priorities

  • Monitor on-site consumer behaviour metrics: sessions, CVR, bounce rate, checkout drop-off; and identify improvement opportunities to escalate

Distributor & Partner Coordination

  • Act as the day-to-day operational contact for distributor partners: coordinating content updates, resolving site issues, and following up on outstanding actions

  • Ensure NPD assets, pricing, and product information are shared with distributor teams ahead of launch windows and track readiness against agreed timelines

  • Support the eCommerce Manager in distributor performance reviews: preparing performance data, tracking actions, and following up on agreed next steps

Stock & Operations

  • Monitor stock availability across all .com markets twice weekly; flag any SKUs at risk of going out of stock within 7 days and escalate to the relevant stakeholders

  • Track sell-out rates by SKU and alert the team to slow-moving stock

  • Coordinate with CS and logistics teams on fulfilment issues, delivery delays, and customer escalations that require operational intervention

About you:

Essential

  • 3 to 5 years in eCommerce, digital retail, or online trading; with direct experience in a trading, operations, or merchandising role

  • Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple markets and workstreams simultaneously without dropping the detail

  • Comfortable working with data; able to pull, read, and present trading performance metrics clearly and consistently

  • Experience working on or with eCommerce platforms; either directly or through a briefing and coordination role with the merchandising or technical team

  • Excellent communication and follow-through; able to brief external partners clearly and track actions to completion

  • Self-starter mindset; takes ownership of tasks and flags issues early rather than waiting to be asked

Preferred

  • Experience in the MEA or GCC region; familiarity with market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and the distributor operating model is an advantage

  • Background in a premium consumer brand; electronics, beauty, or lifestyle

  • Familiarity with enterprise eCommerce platforms such as SFCC or Magento

  • Basic experience with analytics tools; Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar
