The Opportunity
As Bar Manager, you'll free pour exceptional guest service. You'll lead the team, own the bar program, and keep every shift running as smoothly as it feels.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing bar team, creating a positive culture and delivering exceptional service every shift.
• Create and launch innovative cocktail menus, seasonal specials and unique beverage experiences that keep guests coming back.
• Drive revenue and profitability through effective stock control, beverage costing, inventory management and labour planning.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and brand partners, unlocking exclusive products, activations and guest experiences.
• Oversee all bar operations, including rosters, stocktakes, cellar management, cash handling and POS systems.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, liquor licensing, food safety and operational standards while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.
What You'll Bring
You're an experienced hospitality professional who combines operational excellence with creativity and genuine leadership.
• Previous experience managing bars or hospitality operations in a busy, high volume venue.
• A passion for cocktails, premium spirits, wine and craft beer, with an eye for emerging beverage trends.
• Strong commercial awareness, including stock control, labour management, budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Confidence managing supplier relationships and negotiating product opportunities.
• Outstanding communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when the venue is at its busiest.
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
