This is an exceptional opportunity for ab experienced Hospital Specialist seeking a dynamic territory with depth, variety, and strategic influence, or a high‑performing GP Representative ready for the next step.

As a Hospital Specialist Representative within our Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) team, you will partner with Respiratory Physicians, Rheumatologists and multidisciplinary care teams across NSW North to improve outcomes for patients living with ILD.

We’re seeking a hospital-focused sales professional who combines commercial excellence with strong clinical capability. Someone energised by specialist engagement, complex environments and work that directly shapes patient and health system outcomes.

(This role will cover the targeted customers across NSW North.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales and activity targets across the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and hospital account plans to drive customer engagement, patient access and business outcomes.
  • Identify, prioritise and effectively engage key customers and stakeholders across hospitals, specialist clinics and the broader multidisciplinary care team.
  • Build trusted and credible relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
  • Deliver on coverage, frequency and field activity expectations across your customer base.
  • Partner effectively with Medical, Marketing, Market Access and other cross-functional colleagues to achieve business objectives and deliver customer value.
  • Support the inclusion of BI products within hospital protocols, treatment pathways and relevant institutional processes.
  • Coordinate and deliver value-adding educational activities, including in-service programs, journal clubs, case conferences and other customer-focused initiatives.
  • Utilise CRM systems, customer insights and business data to effectively plan, prioritise and execute territory activities.
  • Manage territory budgets and resources responsibly to maximise impact and return on investment.
  • Maintain a high standard of clinical, technical and industry knowledge.
  • Contribute positively to a high-performing team culture and collaborate effectively to achieve shared goals.
  • Develop strong selling, influencing and stakeholder engagement capabilities within a complex healthcare environment.
  • Take ownership of your development through active learning and progression toward the next applicable standard.

Your profile

  • Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in science, health, business or a related field are desirable but not essential.
  • Hospital sales experience and/or experience in respiratory, rheumatology or specialty care will be highly regarded.
  • Proven track record of sales success and achievement of business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and territory management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply complex clinical, product and disease-state knowledge.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Australian healthcare system and Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.
  • Strong digital proficiency, including CRM systems, virtual engagement platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
