EUC Specialist

We are looking for an EUC Specialist to help modernise and secure our IT services, who can embed security by default into our IT services, working closely with our Security team, and who will take a lead role in consolidating IT services across the group's three major entities.

We are actively integrating AI and automation into all areas of the business and expect candidates with mindset focused on improving efficiency and deliver a better user experience.

Key responsibilities

EUC Consolidation

• Maintenance of multiple on-premise Active Directory domains and Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenants while working on the migration plan
• Future state design: generate proposal(s) for the ideal target operating model, including technical specifications, processes and costing
• Migration planning: define the stages required to move from current state to the target operating model, including timelines, costs and deliverables for each stage
• Migration execution: collaborate to the migration process, write documentation and delegate changes where necessary

Advocacy of Modernisation

• Identify opportunities for the modernisation of technologies and working practices; write proposals highlighting the potential for operational efficiencies and cost reductions
• Act as an internal evangelist, writing documentation and presenting at company town halls
• Focus on removing the “burden of knowledge” from the end users; IT services shouldn’t require complex manual configurations, user interventions or training to be usable
• Automation and Centralised Management
• Lead the change to a “high-tech, low-touch” environment
• Work with stakeholders to create user profiles (for example by entity, department, team) to automate configurations, assign permissions, etc.

Automate the deployment and configuration of new laptops (Windows and MacBooks)

• Centralised patching/updates, application packaging and deployment
• Automate the joiners/movers/leavers lifecycle, integrating with HR and service management systems

Security

• Centrally enforce secure configurations
• Support the move to Zero Trust

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience managing Microsoft Windows Active Directory domains, both on-premise and hybrid (synchronising with Azure); includes experience managing domain creation, replication, trusts, GPOs.
• 5+ years’ experience managing the Microsoft stack: Microsoft 365, Copilot, Intune, Entra ID.
• Experience planning and leading at least one migration from on-premise Active Directory to M365/Azure, including the migration of GPOs.
• 5+ years’ experience packaging applications and deploying them using Intune.
• 5+ years’ experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Demonstrable experience designing, delivering and advertising workplace modernisation.
• Able to work towards objectives autonomously.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a very good command of the English language.
• Able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
