Job Summary
The End-Point Engineer Jr is a hands-on member of the End-User Computing team for the Mosaic Infrastructure Managed Services engagement, supporting the day-to-day operation of a managed endpoint estate of roughly 11,000+ devices across the United States, Canada, Brazil, Peru, and Paraguay. Working under the guidance of the End-Point Engineer Sr. and the End-Point Lead/Architect, this role handles endpoint incident resolution, deployment execution, imaging, patch remediation, and routine administration in SCCM (Configuration Manager/MECM) and Microsoft Intune, building toward more advanced endpoint engineering responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities
- Resolve escalated endpoint incidents from the Service Desk, including OS, application, driver, and policy-related issues on managed Windows devices.
- Execute application deployments, patch remediation, and compliance fixes in SCCM/MECM and Intune under established procedures.
- Support device provisioning and imaging activities, including Windows Autopilot enrollment and OSD task sequence execution.
- Monitor deployment and patching dashboards, identifying and remediating failed installations on endpoints.
- Assist with application packaging and testing under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Maintain device collections, groups, and inventory hygiene in SCCM and Intune.
- Document resolutions and contribute to the team's knowledge base and runbooks.
- Support hardware refresh and endpoint migration waves, including device preparation and validation tasks.
- Follow the account's incident, request, and change management processes with accurate ticket documentation.
- Grow platform expertise over time through mentoring, training, and progressively complex assignments.
Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications
- Degree or technical diploma in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-2+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or endpoint operations in an enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of Windows client operating systems and common enterprise applications (Microsoft 365 suite).
- Exposure to endpoint management tools such as SCCM/MECM and/or Microsoft Intune.
- Solid troubleshooting fundamentals and a methodical approach to incident resolution.
- Good documentation habits and disciplined ticket hygiene.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Eagerness to learn and grow into senior endpoint engineering responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft fundamentals-level certification (e.g., MD-102 coursework, MS-900) or equivalent training.
- Basic PowerShell scripting exposure.
- Experience working within ITIL-based processes (incident, request, change).
- Experience in a managed services or enterprise support environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese a plus.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Windows client OS administration and troubleshooting.
- SCCM/MECM and/or Microsoft Intune at an operator level.
- Microsoft 365 desktop applications support.
- ITSM/ticketing platforms (ServiceNow or equivalent).
