Wood is looking for a Human Resources Shared Services Specialist to join our growing Shared Services Team in our Bogota, Colombia office. This opportunity is hybrid.

The Role

Wood Colombia is seeking a Human Resources Shared Services Specialist - technician, technologist, or professional in administrative fields with 0 to 2 years of experience in shared services and an advanced level of English to join our team. You will be aligned to our People and Organizational vertical and would be a part of the Regional Shared Services (HR) team that serves stakeholders and process partners across the Region, initially supporting the US processes. You would be working in one of the functions in employee life cycle, resourcing, learning, and training, rewards or reporting and will be responsible for managing the service delivery and providing optimum solutions to stakeholders and process partners.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders and process partners (recruitment, HR Business Partners, payroll, scheduling) to ensure customer requests are processed on time.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs, taking ownership of preparing and managing incident records to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Create offer letters, employment contracts, forms, validate certificates, update employee records, hiring guides, transfer documentation, termination documents, and update worker status across various HR tools according to business needs.
  • Manage the creation of employee files in network units and handle e‑filing of employee documents.
  • Support additional project management activities as required by the business, including processing and reporting tasks etc., based on teams' needs and requirements, as the team is growing.
  • Serve as the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) lead for new regions and tools aligned with the organization’s Target Operating Model.
  • Drive process improvements and continuously identify ways to increase value for stakeholders and clients.
