Warehouse Storeperson

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Storeperson to join our manufacturing and production team in Newcastle, New South Wales. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our business by maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting logistics processes. This permanent, full-time position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Organise and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management to maintain accurate records.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential, as training may be provided.
