We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (f/m/x) to join our team. The client operates in the banking sector and supports organizations of various scales.

As a Senior Project Manager (f/m/x) you will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. You will also create strategies to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.
This is you

• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Strong working experience with credit institution, financial services institution or securities institution
• High level of coaching and facilitation competence
• Analytical thinking for identifying and structuring complex issues
• Ability to develop innovative solutions
• Independent and autonomous working style
• Willingness to collaborate with the bank’s employees
• Knowledge of Flight Levels and OKR framework
• Hands-on experience with agility metrics
• Profound experience in analysing and implementing banking requirements in application systems
• Knowledge of requirements management applications such as Jira, Confluence and SpiraPlan
• Familiarity with modelling languages such as BPMN, UML or eEPK
• Knowledge of portals used to manage promotional lending business or Java-based web applications
• Basic knowledge of managing small and medium-sized projects or sub-projects
• English – Upper-intermediate or higher
• German – Advanced

Nice-to-have skills:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Business Information Systems, or a comparable qualification such as BA or VWA, or professional experience in a comparable environment

This is your role

• Promote a stable and efficient Scrum / Kanban flow
• Facilitate retrospectives, weekly meetings and reviews
• Identify and remove bottlenecks and blockers
• Coach the external consulting team in Flight Levels and agility metrics
• Support teams in aligning their work with strategic corporate objectives
• Promote agile methods within the external consulting team
• Optimise workflows and remove obstacles within the external consulting team
• Manage and perform test management activities in the context of changes
• Develop and document test scenarios, test execution and results
• Manage and perform release management activities
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s formally documented requirements for application development
