As Sr. Director, Global HR Business Partner – Operations, you will serve as the strategic HR partner to the Senior Vice President Global Operations. You will shape the global organization, talent and capability strategies for this organization, influencing how it is structured, led and equipped to deliver innovation, operational excellence and sustainable growth.
As a trusted advisor, you will partner closely with senior leaders across the full spectrum of strategic HR topics while playing a key role in aligning business strategy, organizational development, and people priorities to enable long-term business success. Together with the business, you will help define the future organization and translate that vision into an integrated organization, workforce and talent agenda.
Reporting directly to the Vice President Global HR MedTech, you will be a key member of the MedTech HR Leadership Team. In this role, you will collaborate across the global HR organization, help strengthen our HR capabilities and contribute to strategic people initiatives that shape the future. You will also bring enterprise-wide insights from Operations into the MedTech HR agenda, influencing global HR priorities, investments and solutions.
What you will do:
- Serve as the strategic HR Business Partner to the Senior Vice President Global Operations.
- Advise and constructively challenge senior leaders on strategic HR, organizational and leadership priorities aligned with business objectives.
- Lead organizational design and organizational development initiatives that support evolving business strategies and future organizational needs.
- Shape future operating models, organization design principles and governance approaches that balance global alignment with business and regional needs.
- Partner with business leaders to define multi-year organizational transformation roadmaps, translating strategic priorities into clear execution plans.
- Foster a people-centered culture built on trust, inclusion and shared values, creating an environment where individuals, teams and innovation can flourish.
- Partner with business leaders to build the organizational capabilities, to strengthen leadership effectiveness and organizational performance. Translate capability gaps into coordinated build, buy, borrow and redeploy strategies in collaboration with business leaders and HR Centres of Expertise.
- Lead strategic HR initiatives with global impact across Operations and the broader MedTech organization, leveraging organizational insights, people analytics and external market perspectives to shape recommendations and influence executive decision-making.
- Translate business priorities into integrated people and organizational solutions by collaborating closely with HR Centres of Expertise, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Total Rewards, as well as external consulting partners.
- Contribute as a key member of the MedTech HR Leadership Team by strengthening HR capabilities, advancing strategic HR initiatives and driving excellence across the global HR function.
What you bring:
- A relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development or a related field
- Significant experience partnering with executive leaders to shape organizational and people strategies in a global business environment, ideally as a Global HR Business Partner.
- Proven expertise in Organizational Design and Organizational Development, with a track record of designing organizations that enable business strategy, innovation and future growth.
- Experience leading large-scale organizational initiatives, including organizational redesign, capability building and operating model evolution, ideally within the MedTech or Healthcare sector
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into pragmatic organizational and people solutions.
- Outstanding consulting, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the credibility to challenge and advise senior executives.
- Excellent project leadership skills with the ability to lead multiple strategic initiatives in a dynamic global environment.
- Extensive executive and leadership coaching experience is preferred; a formal coaching certification is an advantage
- Strong analytical, conceptual and systems thinking skills.
- Ability to define a compelling future-state vision while maintaining the execution discipline required to deliver sustainable outcomes.
- Demonstrated success influencing complex stakeholder environments and driving transformation without direct reporting authority.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness, with the ability to build trusted relationships and partner effectively across regions, cultures and organizational levels.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and executive presentation skills, with fluent English, additional languages are an advantage
