Vice President, Investment Banking Operations

Role Description:

  • Manage the Budapest Investment Banking Global Center junior team to provide a differentiated level of support to our everyday internal management and client coverage related tasks
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • People management, including oversight of recruitment, onboarding, training, day to day hours and performance, upskilling, career progression, mid-year and year-end performance review cycles
    • Conduct and risk supervision, employee listening/pastoral care, coaching, and wellbeing matters – mitigate risk through documented process controls and adherence to escalation protocols
    • Driving frequent, systematic, and actionable two-way feedback, with the goal of measurable employee performance improvement
    • Acting as a culture carrier with consistent office presence (note: role requires 5 days per week in-office)
    • Coordination with IBD and Local Management, HR, Corporate Services stakeholders
    • Designing, driving, and owning initiatives and systems related to site evolution
    • Managing workload, capacity, and hours submission protocols
    • Preparation of presentations, regular reporting, updates and memoranda for a wider senior audience across IBD and the Firm
    • Encourage efficiencies through changes to work processes utilizing automation
    • Assist with adoption of new technology and AI tools in Budapest
