Job Purpose
Teach undergraduate Psychology courses within the School of Arts & Sciences as part of the General Education curriculum. The position supports AIU’s mission by providing high-impact instruction and fostering the intellectual and personal growth of students through engaging, inclusive, and student-centered teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Teach undergraduate courses in Psychology within the General Education curriculum
• Prepare and deliver course materials and assignments aligned with curriculum standards
• Support student engagement and success both in and outside the classroom
• Utilize learning management systems and instructional technologies effectively
• Participate in periodic course assessment and program improvement activities

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Strong communication and instructional skills in English (language of instruction is English)
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and student-centered pedagogy
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural and language backgrounds
• Familiarity with instructional technologies and learning management systems

Education and Experience
• PhD degree in Psychology or a closely related field required
• Demonstrated university-level teaching experience required
• Experience working with English language learners preferred
• Experience delivering courses in classroom, hybrid, or online formats desirable
