Senior Account Maintenance Officer

An exciting opportunity within Deutsche Bank Luxembourg’s growing Wealth Management business. In this position, you will act as a trusted partner to Coverage teams across Luxembourg and several international locations, including Germany, Austria, the Nordics, Emerging Europe, Switzerland, the UK and the MEA region. As part of a dynamic and highly motivated team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, fostering trust and credibility, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

You will collaborate closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Product, Credit, Risk, Legal and Compliance specialists, to support the effective management of client relationships. The role involves handling complex account-related enquiries and executing a broad range of processes throughout the entire lifecycle of Private Banking accounts, ensuring operational excellence and a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support Coverage teams in Luxembourg and offshore locations on newly adopted clients, account maintenance activities and day-to-day client servicing requirements.

• Maintain and administer client data, account records and related system codifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Coverage, Product, Credit, Risk, Legal and Compliance functions to facilitate efficient processing of client requests and account-related matters.

• Ensure that all client interactions, documentation and activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and compliance standards, including proper record keeping within Deutsche Bank systems.

• Manage and resolve complex account-related enquiries throughout the lifecycle of Private Banking relationships, delivering a high standard of service and operational excellence.

• Contribute to departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, controls, efficiency and the overall client experience.

Skills:

• 3-5 years of professional experience within the financial services industry, preferably in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Client Services or a related field.

• Sound understanding of banking products, services, operational processes and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply policies and procedures effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders and functions.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Proven organisational and teamwork skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet demanding deadlines.

• Proactive, client-focused and solution-oriented mindset, demonstrating a positive attitude and a dynamic approach to work.

• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken; additional language skills are considered an advantage.

The successful candidate will be asked to present a recent criminal record.
