Supply Chain Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Supply Chain Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing supply chain processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting strategic projects. You will act as a trusted business partner and point of contact for procurement, production planning, and other stakeholders across the organization, helping to solve operational challenges and drive impactful improvements. In addition, you will support the ongoing development of SAP S4 functionalities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Process Optimization

  • Analyze and improve end-to-end supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, material flow, and production planning.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation to streamline workflows.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

SAP S4 Development and Support

  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to enhance SAP S4 functionalities, aligning them with supply chain needs.
  • Participate in the testing, implementation, and training phases of SAP S4 enhancements.
  • Act as a key user for SAP S4, providing input on configuration and troubleshooting system issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a key point of contact for procurement, production planning, and other business stakeholders when supply chain-related challenges arise.
  • Work closely with procurement, production, logistics, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies with organizational goals.
  • Support new product launches and change initiatives with effective supply chain planning.
  • Facilitate alignment between departments and help drive adoption of new processes and ways of working.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and influence stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Leverage data analytics to evaluate supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting key supply chain metrics and trends.
  • Use insights to recommend and implement process enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a similar role.
  • Experience with SAP S4 is strongly preferred, including implementation or key user experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in supply chain tools and software (e.g., SAP S4, ERP systems, Excel, SAC, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to challenge the status quo.
  • Able to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives forward.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence, and bring people along in change processes.
