Job Description
Job title: Sr. Process Quality Engineer
Contributes to the ongoing operations and expansion of the Shared Services QMS.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Contributes to the expansion of Shared Services QMS scope consistent with the needs of the organization
- Serve as a change champion for the adoption of artificial intelligence by driving awareness, engagement, and effective utilization of AI solutions, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity, and supporting teams in integrating AI-enabled ways of working to achieve business objectives.
- Reviews and monitors operational key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of operations, actively participates in the development, modification, and execution of company policies impacting immediate operations, with potential implications across the organization.
- Ensures processes are deployed in a compliant manner consistent with established procedures
- Supports CAPAs and SCARs, ensuring forward progress and timely completion.
- Solves problems in a structured manner to get to root causes and develop clear actions plans to effectively eliminate or mitigate the risk. This includes conducting a logical analysis of the situation, or data, taking into consideration organizational objectives.
- Supports internal and external audits, as needed
You're the right fit if:
- Strong understanding of the Management System - Quality Management System (QMS)
- Strong understanding and experience with medical device regulations (e.g. ISO 13485, 21 CFR Parts 11/801/820, EUMDR)
- Strong Business Partnering skills with B/R/F
- Business Leadership experience particularly in complex multi-disciplinary settings with a global footprint
- Experience balancing compliance, quality and LEAN strategies for low cost/high volume work processes
- Able to identify best practices and create and influence stakeholder buy-in to leverage these in the promotion of continuous improvement
- Problem solving skills with particular emphasis on LEAN techniques
- Able to take independent action to initiate process improvement, work closely with upper management, work in a matrix organization and work independently with minimal mentorship
- BA/BS required
- Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related Q&R experience
Compensation & benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €61,185.00 –€101,975.82. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
This role is eligible for 3% bonus with your rewards linked to your KPIs and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
