Student Counsellor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Student Counsellor who has previously worked with a UK- or Australia-based education, study abroad, or student visa company/organization . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience counselling prospective students, handling enquiries, managing applications, and coordinating with admissions and visa teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and understand their academic and career goals.
• Provide accurate guidance on courses, institutions, admissions, and visa processes.
• Manage student enquiries from initial consultation through application.
• Follow up with prospective students and maintain strong relationships.
• Coordinate with admissions and visa processing teams.
• Review student profiles and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems.
• Meet counselling, conversion, and application targets.
• Handle student queries and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in student counselling or education/visa consultancy.
• Previous experience working for a UK-based or Australia-based education, study abroad, or student visa company is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong counselling, follow-up, and relationship-management abilities.
• Target-oriented and well organized.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with direct experience working in an established UK or Australia-based education/study visa organization will be given preference.
