IT and Security Manager

Role scope

We are looking for an experienced IT & Security Manager to take end-to-end ownership of IT and cybersecurity across IS-Wireless.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining two key areas:

Corporate IT – internal IT infrastructure, networks, systems, tools and employee IT services.
Corporate Cybersecurity – security architecture, policies, processes, infrastructure protection and security awareness across the company.

At the same time, we want You to be a vocal internal and external voice for LiquidRAN (TM) product security - our 5G/6G software product and development lifecycle, including telecom security standards, secure software development, vulnerability management, security testing and certification.

You will be responsible for defining how IT and Security should work at IS-Wireless, building the architecture, processes, policies and roadmap required to achieve it, and driving their implementation.

We are looking for someone with strong technical experience who can make architecture and technology decisions, solve complex problems and provide technical leadership.

You will work with internal engineering experts, IT specialists and external security consultants where appropriate, while remaining the owner of the overall IT & Security domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the IT & Security strategy, target architecture and delivery roadmap for IS-Wireless.
• Strengthen corporate IT and cybersecurity foundations across networks, infrastructure, identity and access, endpoints, remote access and operational processes.
• Establish practical security controls for source code, CI/CD, build and release environments, open-source components and software supply chains.
• Own the LiquidRAN Product Security roadmap, including security requirements, threat modelling, vulnerability management, testing and remediation.
• Prioritise risks and investments, coordinate internal teams and external specialists, and communicate progress and key risks to management.

What we are looking for

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, network security, Product Security or a closely related domain.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise IT and network security, including Linux, firewalls, segmentation, VPNs and identity and access management.
• Practical experience with secure software development, DevSecOps, source-code repositories, CI/CD security and vulnerability management.
• Ability to define security architecture, lead risk assessments and translate findings into practical technical and organisational improvements.
• A pragmatic ownership mindset, sound prioritisation skills and the ability to work credibly with engineers, leadership and external security experts.
• Very good English, written and spoken.

Strong advantages

• Experience with 4G/5G/6G, 3GPP, O-RAN or security of complex distributed telecom products.
• Experience with Kubernetes/container security, SBOM, software supply-chain security or product-security testing and certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS2, NIST or security requirements in mission-critical or defence-grade environments.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first months, we expect you to understand and assess the existing IS-Wireless IT and security environment and establish a clear IT & Security roadmap.

You will progressively:

• establish the target architecture for corporate IT and cybersecurity,
• identify and prioritize the most important risks and security gaps,
• organize IT and security processes and responsibilities,
• strengthen network segmentation, access control and infrastructure security,
• establish secure software development and software supply-chain practices,
• define a structured LiquidRAN Product Security framework,
• establish systematic vulnerability assessment and penetration testing,
• prepare the organization and product for relevant security audits and certifications,
• build a scalable IT & Security function supporting the future growth of IS-Wireless.
