Industrial Mechanic

Performs basic tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of manufacturing and laboratory equipment. Availability to work in East-US.

  • Able to identify, locates and diagnoses failure, replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records always keeping equipment and systems cGMP compliant.
  • Uses a variety of hand, power and test tools and equipment.
  • Performs routine general maintenance tasks as designated by supervisor, to include any or all the following areas: process equipment, utility equipment; HVAC; Purified water among others.
  • Coordinates and executes maintenance on critical systems/equipment with supervisor.
  • Performs multi-shift work as required.
  • Maintain a safe work environment; work in a safe manner following all safety SOP’s and wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Able to check and respond to troubleshooting activities for Equipment Monitoring & Building Management Systems alerts and alarms.
  • Ensure maintenance work orders are completed on time while adhering to operational standards.
  • Availability to work in East-US.

Requirements

  • Industrial Mechanic Certification, Instrumentation, Engineering or related.
  • At least 3 years of experience with manufacturing and/or laboratory equipment/machines.
  • 1st shift (availability to work any shift as necessary)
  • Bilingual-English and Spanish
