KPMG's Management Consulting practice is growing, and we are looking for an ambitious consultant to join our Procurement team. If you have recently started your professional journey and gained 1–3 years of experience after graduation, this could be the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career.
As part of our team, you will work alongside experienced consultants and industry experts to help leading organizations transform and improve their procurement functions. Together, we support our clients through digitalization, transformation programs, strategic sourcing initiatives, and process improvements.
About the team
Our Procurement team consists of over 20 professionals based in Stockholm and Gothenburg. We work closely with both Swedish and international clients across a broad range of industries, supporting them in creating more efficient, resilient, and sustainable procurement organizations.
As part of KPMG's global network, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experts from around the world and gain exposure to a variety of industries, projects, and challenges.
What you will do
You will work as part of project teams supporting clients in areas such as:
- Procurement transformation and operating model development
- Digitalization and automation of procurement processes with strong focus on AI
- Category management and Strategic sourcing initiatives
- Spend analysis
- Supplier risk, resilience and sustainability programs
- Process efficiency and Source-to-Pay optimization
- Project- and change management
- Data-driven insights and business case development
You will collaborate with colleagues and clients to analyze business challenges, develop recommendations, and support the implementation of solutions that create measurable results.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 1–3 years of professional experience after graduation
- Has experience within procurement, sourcing, supply chain, operations, or a related field
- Alternatively, has completed a graduate or trainee program in a relevant area
- Holds a university degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline with top tier grades
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Is interested in digitalization, transformation, and technology-enabled business improvement
- Enjoys working collaboratively in teams and building relationships with clients
- Communicates fluently in English; Swedish is considered an advantage
Experience from larger international organizations, such as industrial, manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods companies, is considered beneficial.
