Ensure the timely and efficient availability, movement, and deployment of equipment, rental tools, materials, and inventory while maintaining compliance with company procedures, export control requirements, delegated authority, and applicable Thailand oil and gas regulations.
- Plan and schedule equipment preparation and loadout with the workshop team based on rig activities, project requirements, and lookahead schedules.
- Manage equipment loadout and arrange transportation from the facility to the client’s jetty or designated location.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to and from Thailand, including rental tools, inventory, equipment, materials, and intercompany shipments.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, shipping agents, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery and resolve transportation issues.
- Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents, including CIPL, Air Waybills (AWB), Bills of Lading (BL), and customs documentation.
- Conduct compliance screening for rental tools before field deployment in accordance with export control regulations and company policies.
- Manage purchasing activities, including quotations, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, supplier registration, and ERP updates in JDE.
- Monitor open purchase orders, pending deliveries, equipment readiness, inventory availability, tool movements, service activities, and shipment requirements.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to support operational and project schedules.
- Prepare reports on purchasing, logistics, shipments, equipment readiness, and delivery status.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with procurement, logistics, documentation, and company procedures.
- Assign tasks, provide guidance, monitor team performance, and escalate operational risks or delays to management.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain, or administrative support.
Experience in the oil and gas industry is advantageous.
Working knowledge of project scheduling, purchasing, shipping processes, and Incoterms.
Experience with Thailand Department of Mineral Fuels (DMF) import and export regulations, particularly for the oil and gas industry, is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Familiarity with JDE, service logging, inventory control, and tool tracking.
Conversant in English, both written and spoken.
Strong coordination, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently.
