All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or controlling, preferably within a multinational manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in external audit, preferably with a Big Four or similar international audit firm, is highly preferred.
• Experience with IFRS and US GAAP reporting, financial reporting, and statutory reconciliations is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively in an international business environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
More About the Role
The Accounting Specialist will support the MCC IML Izmir Finance team in statutory accounting, IFRS and US GAAP reporting, financial reporting, management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit activities. This role will work closely with local finance, commercial, Shared Service Center, and regional finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely completion of financial closing activities, and compliance with local statutory requirements and MCC Group reporting standards
• Support statutory accounting and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, and analyses to support business and management reporting.
• Assist with IFRS and US GAAP reporting requirements, including related reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and audit documentation for internal and external audits.
• Work closely with local finance, Shared Service Center, and regional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support accounting activities related to fixed assets, inventory, accruals, leasing, and other general accounting processes.
• Contribute to process improvements, data accuracy, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and local statutory requirements.

The successful candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, and contributes to maintaining high standards of financial reporting, compliance, and internal control.
