Job Responsibilities:
- Managing Credit Strategies: Oversee and pilot retail credit portfolio strategies to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
- Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with the business teams to develop and improve retail credit products, ensuring they meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Credit Portfolio Monitoring: Continuously monitor the credit portfolio to ensure it is performing as expected, identifying any areas of concern or opportunity for improvement.
- Anti-Fraud and Verification Strategy: Develop and implement methodologies and strategies for fraud prevention and verification processes to protect the bank and customers.
- Reviewing Current Practices: Assess current lending practices and make recommendations for improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare the structure and content for regular reports on portfolio monitoring, providing clear insights and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
Experience in the Risk Division as a Portfolio Manager for retail credit products. Ideal experience includes:
- Cash products (priority experience)
- POS/BNPL (Point-of-Sale / Buy Now, Pay Later products)
- Car loans
Experience in Risk Strategy Development: A significant advantage would be experience in building risk strategies from scratch and launching new products in the market.
Target Banks: Experience with banks such as Home Credit (Russia/Kazakhstan), MTS Bank (Russia), Tinkoff (Russia), Alfa-Bank (Russia), Tochka (Russia, not a target but possible), Kaspy (Kazakhstan), and Solva Group (Kazakhstan) is highly desirable.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English at a good level is required.
Business Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with business units and a strong understanding of the bank's business strategy, including financial concepts like NPV (Net Present Value) and other key performance metrics.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is required.
- Experience with BI (Business Intelligence) tools would be a plus.
