At the forefront of our systems is our Maintenance Management System (MMS) IBM Maximo, and which the position of MMS Database Administrator is essential to ensure continued maintenance and development of this system, and which will support to drive our asset management capabilities, deliver system improvements, and improve our data capture, completeness and integrity.
This position will act as an MMS champion and system gatekeeper across the business, ensuring that all changes adhere to the relevant testing and change management procedures, and support to establish and implement standards and best practices
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day operation management of MMS, incorporating administration of MMS helpdesk tickets, user and security group management;
- Acting as MMS champion and gatekeeper, ensuring all changes adhere to relevant change management procedures, proactive proposal of solutions or recommendations to improve system capabilities and data quality and integrity;
- Coordination and facilitation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), incorporating development of UAT scripts to define Pass/Fail criteria;
- Development and updating of technical documentation and processes, including work instructions, procedures and training materials to document technical solutions and support processes;
- Development and delivery of MMS training materials across all business functions and departments;
- Perform necessary maintenance on MMS hardware and software, incorporating record capture, system performance reports, and engagement with stakeholders to identify root cause;
- Development of complex SQL queries to support business user requirements;
- Supporting and monitoring MMS third-party integrations;
- Deputise for the MMS Solution Architect Manager for periods of leave, or as required;
- Assist in the development of business cases to support strategic investment in systems, processes and/or solutions to enhance system and/or data capabilities;
- Perform other duties as instructed/directed/agreed with the MMS Solution Architect Manager or Line Management;

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years experience of Maximo 7.6.x or higher, experience of Maximo Application Suite (MAS) is desirable;
- Experience of Maximo Anywhere development and deployment, experience of Maximo Mobile is desirable;
- Experience of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF);
- Experience of developing BIRT Reports;
- Experience of advanced application of SQL/TSQL;
- Experience and knowledge of Java class;
- Experience and knowledge of Automation Script
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Engineering or related discipline.
- IBM Certified Deployment Professional or IBM Certified Functional Analyst is desirable.
