About the role

Working day: Tuesday to Thursday| 24 hours/week

• Deliver patient-centred care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating tailored oral health treatment plans for a diverse range of patients.
• Promote better oral health through education, disease prevention, health promotion, informed consent and high-quality post-operative care for patients, families and carers.
• Support complex patient care by recognising oral manifestations of systemic disease and working with oncology, transplant, cardiac, infectious disease, aged care and special needs patients.
• Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, partnering with dentists, dental assistants, medical, nursing and allied health professionals to coordinate care and ensure appropriate referrals.
• Make an impact beyond day-to-day clinical care by contributing to quality improvement, clinical audits, research, service development, education and student supervision while maintaining your professional development

About you

• Registered Oral Health Therapist with current AHPRA registration and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
• An excellent communicator who builds trusted relationships with patients, families and colleagues and communicates confidently across a multidisciplinary team.
• A collaborative and ethical professional who can navigate complex situations with sound judgement, professionalism and respect for professional boundaries.
• Highly organised and adaptable, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands in a busy clinical environment.
• Committed to continuous growth and improvement, with a passion for professional development and applying quality improvement principles to enhance patient care and service outcomes.
