About the role
This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of T2’s digital growth — owning the trade performance of our online business across our global websites, and our third-party marketplaces. Reporting to the Director of Digital and Omnichannel Enablement, you’ll translate trading data into onsite action across merchandising, campaign activation and promotional mechanics, leading a team to deliver against T2’s annual trading and promotional calendar.
You will LOVE ecommerce and demonstrate a genuine commercial mindset, with real care for revenue, margin and customer experience outcomes. This role blends commercial leadership with a genuinely hands-on approach — your analytical rigour, trading instincts and strong leadership skills will be on show, as will your ability to partner confidently across Buying, Marketing, Creative and Development to land campaigns and launches on time and on brief.
Key responsibilities
- Owning and growing the end-to-end trade performance of the T2 online store — revenue, conversion, average order value and margin — against budget and forecast
- Running the weekly trade cadence, translating traffic, conversion, average order value and sell-through data into clear onsite actions and priorities for the team
- Owning the annual and rolling trading and promotional calendar, aligning onsite campaigns, launches and promotional mechanics to key trading moments
- Owning the performance and growth of T2’s third-party marketplace channel (including Amazon), setting revenue and margin targets and driving marketplace-specific trading actions
- Leading, coaching and managing a team across trading, merchandising, CRO, search and content
- Owning daily site performance monitoring and issue triage, escalating and coordinating fixes with the development teams
About you
- 4+ years’ ecommerce experience with direct accountability for onsite trading, revenue and commercial performance, ideally in retail, FMCG or a comparable consumer category
- Comfortable blending strategic, commercial leadership with genuinely hands-on execution — you set the direction and roll up your sleeves to deliver it
- Proven experience running a trade cadence (daily/weekly) and translating conversion, AOV, UPT and sell-through data into commercial action
- Strong onsite merchandising skills — product sorting, category and collection curation, search merchandising and promotional placement
- Hands-on experience with Shopify, comfortable navigating the admin, themes and app ecosystem
- Experience managing a third-party marketplace channel (e.g. Amazon Seller/Vendor Central), including listing optimisation and marketplace-specific promotional mechanics
- Strong analytical skills (GA4 or equivalent) with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading, coaching or mentoring direct reports in a fast-paced retail or ecommerce environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting trading performance to leadership
