About the Role

As Assistant Director of Catering & Conference Services, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the success of the hotel's meetings, events, conferences and social catering operations. Working closely with commercial, operational and culinary teams, you will ensure the seamless execution of memorable events while driving financial performance and enhancing client satisfaction.

This position requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and service excellence. You will contribute significantly to the hotel's reputation as a premier events destination, ensuring every experience reflects the legendary standards of The Ritz-Carlton.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Catering & Conference Services function.
• Drive operational excellence across all meetings, conferences, banquets and special events, ensuring flawless execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders, creating exceptional and personalised experiences.
• Partner with Revenue, Sales and Finance teams to maximise profitability, optimise event revenue and achieve business objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering engagement, professionalism and continuous growth.
• Monitor service delivery and guest satisfaction, proactively identifying opportunities to elevate the customer experience.
• Ensure full compliance with The Ritz-Carlton brand standards, operational procedures and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership to support strategic initiatives, innovation and long-term business success.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an accomplished hospitality professional with a passion for luxury service and a proven track record in catering, events or conference services leadership within a premium or luxury hotel environment.
