At Fiskars Group we are unified and driven by our common purpose: pioneering design to make the everyday extraordinary. Join our team and seize the extraordinary opportunity to influence the everyday!

Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys staying close to the business, supporting managers in practical people topics and helping build a well-functioning workplace?

We are looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner to support our Iittala Factory and Hämeenlinna Distribution Centre

In this role, you will be close to daily operations and act as a trusted HR partner for managers and employees. You will provide practical guidance, support fair and consistent people practices, and help managers navigate everyday HR matters as well as periods of change.

What you will do

As HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Act as the first HR contact for managers and employees at the Iittala Factory and Hämeenlinna Distribution Centre
  • Support managers in day-to-day people topics, including performance, absence, wellbeing, conduct, working arrangements and team situations
  • Provide practical guidance on Finnish employment legislation, collective agreements, company policies and local HR practices
  • Work with employee representatives and support local negotiations, consultation processes and workplace cooperation topics
  • Support the Factory Management Team with HR input on people plans, resourcing needs, recruiting, capability topics and local ways of working
  • Ensure HR processes are implemented consistently, including annual processes, policy follow-up and practical manager support
  • Maintain high-quality HR data and contribute to HR reporting, audits and follow-up activities
  • Support selected employee lifecycle activities at the Espoo Campus
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across the Nordics to share learnings, align practices and support a consistent employee experience
  • Contribute to local and Nordic HR projects where hands-on HRBP input is needed

What we are looking for

  • Experience in a broad HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist role, preferably in an operational business environment
  • Strong practical experience in employee relations, Finnish employment legislation and collective agreement matters
  • Experience coaching and advising managers in complex day-to-day HR situations
  • The ability to manage several priorities independently in a dynamic operating environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills
  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, diploma, or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience
  • Experience from manufacturing, logistics, retail or another operational environment is considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English

What will help you succeed

You enjoy working close to managers and employees and finding practical, sustainable solutions.

You build trust naturally with managers, employees and employee representatives. You are comfortable moving between manufacturing, logistics and office environments, and you enjoy a varied role that combines HR support, manager coaching and continuous improvement of ways of working. You are also comfortable in supporting change.

Your working environment

The role requires weekly presence at the Iittala Factory, as close collaboration with managers, employees and local operations is an important part of the position.

The role also includes regular presence at Hämeenlinna Distribution Centre and occasional work from Espoo Campus, with limited travel outside Finland. You will report to the VP HR, IMNB.

What we offer

We offer a varied and meaningful HR role close to local operations, where you can drive change and make a tangible impact on managers, employees and everyday ways of working. You will be part of a collaborative Nordic HR team in a global company, working with some of Finland’s most loved and iconic brands.
