Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Project Assistant) (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 537267) (to commence as soon as possible for one year with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline. They should have an excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Cantonese), along with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. They should be responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Prior experience in working with non-governmental organisations (NGOs), or working with people with disabilities, is highly preferred.
The appointee will work for the “Jockey Club Health Programme for Adult Persons with Disabilities” under the supervision of Professor Kelvin Wang. He/she will assist in implementing research activities, analysing data, preparing scientific reports, liaising with community partners and institutions, general administration, and performing other duties as assigned.
