- Lead and Enquiry Management: Assist in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new sales leads and enquiries across technical management, crew management, and the broader commercial services portfolio.
- Client Engagement and Follow-up: Maintain regular follow-up with prospective clients, coordinate responses to enquiries, support introductory discussions, and track agreed client actions through to closure.
- Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and maintain client presentations, capability statements, proposals, service brochures, and other sales materials tailored to specific opportunities and customer requirements.
- Opportunity and Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM records, lead trackers, opportunity status, client interactions, next steps, and sales pipeline updates to support effective opportunity management and reporting.
- Commercial Services Portfolio: Promote and support business opportunities across Anglo-Eastern's commercial services portfolio, including project management, newbuilding supervision, consultancy, digital and performance solutions, and other value-added services.
- Cross-functional Proposal Coordination: Coordinate with technical, crewing, finance, HSSEQ, legal, project management, newbuilding, and other business units to gather inputs required for tenders, proposals, due diligence, and client submissions.
- Market and Client Research: Conduct market research, client profiling, competitor reviews, and industry intelligence gathering to identify prospective customers, emerging requirements, and potential business opportunities.
- Sales Reporting and Events Support: Assist with sales pipeline reports, management updates, client meeting briefs, conferences, exhibitions, webinars, and follow-up actions arising from business development activities.
Requirements
2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, customer relationship management, account management, commercial support, or shipping-related commercial activities.
Experience in maritime, logistics, transportation, offshore, or industrial service sectors would be advantageous.
Experience supporting proposals, tenders, client presentations, and opportunity pipeline management would be beneficial.
Strong communication, presentation, and business writing skills
Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
Strong PowerPoint, proposal preparation, and presentation development capabilities
Good organization, prioritization, and follow-up discipline
Proactive and self-motivated approach to developing opportunities
Good analytical, research, and information-gathering capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms
Ability to coordinate effectively across functions and geographies
Ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously
Sense of urgency, resilience, and accountability for agreed actions
Willingness to travel and attend client meetings and industry events when required
