The NOC Manager owns 24/7 proactive detection, rapid restoration, and disciplined change and risk reduction to protect the availability of core production services across Nayax's platforms.

The role includes people management and technical ownership, with a strong focus on Operational Excellence.

This is the operational and strategic owner of Nayax's Network Operations Center and Nayax’s operational production environments and systems.

This leader will be responsible for the uptime of the production business services, from onboarding, change management, and daily operations to Detect – Understand – Act proactively to mitigate potential incidents and increase the availability of Nayax’s services.

The NOC Team Leader will report directly to the CIO.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership & Strategy

  • Manage, coach, and perform a performance review of a 10-person NOC team across two geographies (IL/UK)
  • Own hiring, onboarding, and people decisions for the team
  • Report directly to the CIO on NOC performance, risk posture, and capability gaps
  • Own and evolve the NOC's strategic framework (mission, pillars, goals, KPIs) and translate it into a working roadmap
  • Drive automation and tooling adoption within budget and staffing constraints, identify and quantify operational needs, and translate them into clear requirements for automation and tooling

Incident, Process & Governance

  • Own end-to-end P0/P1 incident response across 24/7 coverage
  • Enforce mandatory incident management protocol groups
  • Design and own NOC operating procedures: monitoring tooling, escalation paths, severity classification, shift handover standards, and on-call structures
  • Run monthly production retrospectives and distribute findings to Infrastructure and R&D leadership

Success in this Role Means:

  • The team is engaged, growing, and aligned with organizational objectives
  • Improving business services uptime and other operational KPIs
  • Leading operational excellence across the company (R&D, customer support and others)

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 4+ years leading a 24/7 operations, NOC, or SOC team, including direct people management
  • Proven incident/major-incident management experience (P0/P1 ownership, RCA discipline)
  • Experience running distributed teams across time zones (IL/UK or similar)
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Fluent Hebrew and English — both mandatory

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Fintech/payments or other regulated, high-availability environment experience (DORA or equivalent regulatory exposure)

Why Join Nayax

  • You'll be responsible for shaping the NOC's strategic framework and tooling roadmap, cross-business and technological units — this isn't a role that inherits a finished playbook.
  • Lead with impact — drive operational excellence across a global organization and influence the reliability of mission-critical services.
  • Build smarter operations — lead the implementation of advanced monitoring, automation, and operational processes at scale.
