Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process needs and application requirements. This role requires a continuous focus on understanding the evolving demands of the business and translating them into effective application solutions. The developer collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications are aligned with organizational goals, while also maintaining and enhancing existing systems to improve overall efficiency and user experience. The workday is dynamic, balancing development tasks with problem-solving and coordination efforts to deliver robust and scalable applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation of application features ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate application components seamlessly.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and assisting in their development tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Absence Management.
• Experience in configuring and customizing Workday modules to meet business needs.
• Strong understanding of business process workflows and their application in Workday.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and data management within Workday environments.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday US Absence Management.
• This position is based at our BBDC1A - NON-STPI location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
