Job responsibilities
a.
Production Process Management & continuous Improvement:
Oversee production activities during assigned shifts to ensure that production targets are met. Assign tasks to operators and monitor their performance to maintain high productivity.
Ensure efficient material handling, cutting, and storage, minimizing waste and optimizing the use of raw materials.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all machines are in optimal working condition and schedule any required repairs or preventive maintenance.
b.
Quality Control:
Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the shift.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that finished products meet customer specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality.
Conduct inspections of in-process and finished products to identify defects or deviations from standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Production Planning & Coordination:
Assist in developing and implementing daily and weekly production schedules, taking into account order deadlines, equipment capacity, and workforce availability.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure raw materials (e.g., steel coils, sheets) are available and ready for processing.
d.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols.
Ensure all team members comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the shop floor.

Responsible for adhering to the work order system and achieving productivity meeting the customer schedules.
f.
Responsible to produce defect free products, and meeting 100% OTIF.
Knowledge, skills and experience (Minimum level)
Educational qualifications
Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical/ Production)
Relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of work experience in TSDPL ,
Behavioural
Problem solving skills Communication Skills
Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively. Strong decision-making abilities and resource management skills.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations within the steel industry
