Training Delivery - Green Energy

  • Deliver approved classroom, laboratory, shop-floor and on-the-job training for solar manufacturing associates, technicians and supervisors as per the curriculum, session plan and production requirements.

  • Teach relevant manufacturing concepts across the assigned process area, which may include the solar value chain, material handling, cell or module manufacturing, stringing and lay-up, lamination, framing, junction-box activities, testing, inspection, packing and traceability.

  • Explain machine basics, process flow, critical parameters, work instructions, quality checkpoints, common defects and escalation requirements in simple and practical language.

  • Demonstrate safe machine interaction, PPE compliance, electrical and chemical safety, ergonomics, lockout and tagout awareness, emergency response, 5S and clean-workplace practices relevant to the manufacturing environment.

  • Use samples, defect boards, visual work instructions, demonstrations, simulations and supervised practice to build correct task performance and process discipline.

  • Conduct pre-training, in-process and post-training assessments, including practical skill checks, and accurately record attendance, scores, observations and certification recommendations.

  • Coach participants on quality consciousness, waste reduction, first-time-right practices, productivity, teamwork, reporting of abnormalities and adherence to standard work.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, EHS, maintenance and program delivery stakeholders to keep training aligned with approved processes and current shop-floor requirements.

  • Identify learning gaps through assessment data and observation, provide remedial training and recommend content or delivery improvements.

  • Ensure training aids, machines, tools, samples and personal protective equipment are safely arranged and available for each practical session.

  • Maintain trainer discipline, data integrity and deployment flexibility across manufacturing locations as per the training calendar.

  • Diploma, B.E./B.Tech., B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.

  • Preferred minimum 5 years of relevant experience in solar, electronics, semiconductor, electrical, automotive or high-volume manufacturing, including at least 2 years of training, coaching, process, quality or supervisory exposure.

  • Practical understanding of manufacturing processes, standard work, quality control, defect identification, EHS requirements, 5S and basic equipment or process troubleshooting.

  • Prior exposure to solar cell or module manufacturing is strongly preferred for process-specific assignments.

  • Trainer certification, Train-the-Trainer qualification, assessor certification, quality certification or safety certification is desirable.

  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for 10th, 12th, ITI and diploma-level participants and to conduct demonstration-led, hands-on learning.

Good facilitation, coaching, observation, documentation and digital-reporting skills, with willingness to work in shifts or travel to manufacturing locations when required.
