Safety N2 Diagnostic Calibration Engineer
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validation of Safety Level 2 (N2) strategies for powertrain control units.
- Analysis and configuration of Safety Level N2 functions and diagnostic features related to engine and powertrain components.
- Processing and post-analysis of fault detection (PIV) and data acquisition results from validation tests and vehicle missions using dedicated engineering tools.
- Management of the engine Safety freeze process.
- Analysis and processing of DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and OBD fault codes, contributing to root cause investigations and problem resolution.
- Internal coordination and effective communication to support planning, prioritization, and execution of Safety and Diagnostics deliverables within project teams.
YOUR PROFILE:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of vehicle systems and powertrain architecture.
- Good understanding of automotive diagnostics, trouble codes, and Safety Level 2 requirements.
Technical Skills
- MATLAB/Simulink: Ability to read and understand Simulink models; knowledge of Model-Based Design and Stateflow is a plus.
- Tools: INCA, MDA, CRETA, Concerto; experience with CANalyzer is an advantage.
- Valid Category B driving license.
- AW18 certification/experience is considered a plus.
