Your Role: Bill to Cash Subject Matter Expert
As a Bill to Cash Subject Matter Expert, you will be part of Elanco Business Solutions and provide expert guidance to the Cash Management team within the Order to Cash (O2C) process. In this global role, you will support cash application, credit management, collections, compliance, training, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with internal stakeholders and Information Technology.
Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP-enabled cash management and O2C processes, including cash application, cash allocation, adjustments, and remittance management.
- Support credit management and collections activities by reviewing credit information, managing customer credit limits, releasing blocked orders, and promoting timely payment.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, deliver training, review performance metrics, and provide guidance on complex operational issues.
- Support global and regional O2C projects, process improvements, system enhancements, and collaboration with Information Technology.
- Contribute to governance and compliance activities, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, audit support, and accurate financial recordkeeping.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- Required: 3+ years of experience in cash management and Order to Cash (O2C) processes.
- Required: Experience using SAP and other cash management systems.
- Required: Experience with cash application, cash allocation, adjustments, and payment remittance management.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work effectively with global stakeholders and support complex cash management issues.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with credit management, customer credit limits, blocked order release, and collections strategies.
- Experience preparing SOX controls and supporting internal or external audits.
- Experience delivering training, maintaining process documentation, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
