Junior HR Executive

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Executive to join our HR team in Seremban. In this role, you will support a broad range of HR operational and administrative activities that contribute to a positive employee experience and ensure compliance with company policies and local employment regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional who is eager to develop their expertise across the employee lifecycle while supporting a dynamic manufacturing environment. The responsibilities are based on Nexperia's recently advertised Junior HR Executive – HR Operations role.

What you will do

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
  • Prepare HR documentation, including employment contracts, confirmation letters, transfer letters, and employee certifications.
  • Ensure employee data is updated and maintained within HR systems.
  • Support HR audits and documentation reviews.

Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including documentation and orientation arrangements.
  • Ensure all employee records are complete and properly maintained.
  • Support employee transfers, confirmations, and contract administration.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities, including exit documentation and clearance processes.

Payroll and Benefits Administration

  • Assist with payroll preparation by validating attendance, overtime, leave, and employee data changes.
  • Support employee benefits administration, including insurance and other company-sponsored programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

Employee Services and Engagement

  • Act as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR-related inquiries.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, communication activities, and wellness programs.
  • Assist in organizing HR events, training sessions, and employee activities.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and local labor regulations.
  • Generate HR reports and provide administrative support for people-related metrics.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee information.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Up to two years of HR experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Basic understanding of HR administration and employment legislation.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with HRIS or payroll systems will be an advantage.
