We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to support our team, to deliver high-quality, impactful programmes and projects that contribute to the growth and development of our tamariki.

Key Responsibilities:

As Administration Assistant | Kaiwhakarite, you will play a supporting role in the delivery of our ENGAGE and ENRICH programmes. You will be responsible for:

  • Record keeping and accurate collection of data
  • Carrying at administrative support for implementation of all ENGAGE/ENRICH processes
  • Coordinating schedules, booking meetings and managing travel plans for the team
  • Providing event planning and delivery support , including workshop booking and attendance management
  • Hands-on project support

Qualifications and Skills:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous or current administration experience
  • Current knowledge and competency with Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to identify and implement efficient processes
  • A commitment to working in a bi-cultural organisation
  • Strong communication skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in an early childhood education environment.
  • Familiarity with te reo Māori and tikaka.
  • Knowledge of Te Whāriki and the early learning sector.
