Hours: Full Time (40 hours)
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (No Weekends)

About the Role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our supportive and community focused team at Local Doctors Panmure.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and making a meaningful difference through accessible primary healthcare.

Supporting a diverse patient population, you will work alongside General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. From preventative health initiatives and health education through to clinical support and chronic condition management, your contribution will play an important role in improving health outcomes within the community.

What You Will Do

As a valued member of the clinical team, you will:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred nursing care.
  • Undertake clinical observations and routine health assessments within your scope of practice.
  • Assist with immunisations, cervical screening, patient recalls, and other preventative health initiatives where appropriately qualified.
  • Support patients and their families through health education and wellbeing advice.
  • Work collaboratively with General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate, culturally safe care.

What You Will Bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current Enrolled Nurse registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Experience within primary care, community nursing, or a similar setting.
  • The ability to work confidently and independently within a busy clinic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering culturally safe, patient-centred care.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Well-developed digital literacy and clinical documentation skills.
  • An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application within healthcare delivery.

The following would be highly advantageous:

  • Current Authorised Vaccinator certification.
  • Experience in cervical screening and HPV self testing programmes.
  • Experience with MedTech Evolution or a similar patient management system.
