Logistics Section Manager

S/he will manage end-to-end logistics activities for Bridgestone Taiwan, focusing on the 4Cs: Customer / Cost / Cash / Carbon to create competitive advantage as a business purpose. The role will also lead the transformation of the logistics framework, including logistics structure redesign, 3PL outsourcing governance, import process fine-tuning and digitalization to support future business growth and operational excellence.

As a Business Leader, s/he will manage operational aspects related to this role covering service delivery, people development, cross-functional change management and continuous improvement initiatives across in-country logistics operations.

Warehouse & Logistics Transformation

• Drive and ensure optimum efficiency of warehouse operations, achieving all operational KPIs and delivering quality level in customers’ satisfaction.
• Manage staff training, warehouse operations and inventory control management (FEFO, capacity, area organization, visual management etc.).
• Oversee the development and implementation of warehouse operation systems considering the requirements on product handling capabilities, capacity planning, equipment utilization, inventory management and operational processes.
• Perform consistent review and preparation of staffing, operations workflow, warehouse capacity and action plans and ensure time, quality and customer service standards are attained.
• Responsible to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, enforcing, and following SOPs and complied with all statutory requirements.
• Lead logistics transformation initiatives covering framework restructuring, network and operating model redesign, 3PL outsourcing management, import process fine-tuning and logistics digitalization.
• Apply PDCA discipline to drive continuous improvement, root-cause problem solving, process standardization and sustainable performance enhancement with an international business perspective.
