Job DetailsJob Location: Mason City - Mason City, IA 50401Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: 1st ShiftLike fixing things, staying busy, and never having the exact same day twice?

If you're the kind of person who sees something that needs to be done and just gets after it, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

We're looking for a Facilities Coordinator who enjoys working with their hands, solving everyday problems, and taking pride in keeping buildings and grounds looking and working their best.

One day you might be tackling a repair or getting a room ready for an event. The next, you're checking equipment, taking care of the grounds, coordinating custodial needs, or making sure we're stocked with the supplies our teams need.

This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day kind of job. It's a hands-on role for someone who likes variety, can work independently, and enjoys being the person people can count on when something needs attention.

What You'll Be Doing

Keep things working. Handle preventative maintenance and everyday building repairs to help keep our facilities, vehicles, and equipment running safely and smoothly. That might mean repairing a door, touching up paint, fixing a fixture, or taking care of another maintenance need that pops up.

Keep things looking good. Help make sure our buildings, offices, and common spaces are clean, organized, and ready for the people who use them every day. You'll help coordinate custodial needs and pitch in with cleaning, sanitation, trash removal, and general building care when needed.

Take care of the outside, too. Our facilities don't stop at the front door. You'll help maintain the grounds through mowing, trimming, snow removal, and other seasonal upkeep while making sure entrances and outdoor areas remain safe and accessible.

Be our setup go-to. Meetings, trainings, events—you'll help get rooms and equipment set up so our teams have what they need and are ready to go.

Keep us stocked and organized. Monitor maintenance and custodial supplies, maintain storeroom inventory, distribute supplies, and order what's needed before we run out.

Help keep the details on track. Maintain supplier and repair contacts, keep receipts and invoices organized, and make sure maintenance work and safety inspections are documented accurately and on time.

What Makes This Job Different?

You're not doing the same task eight hours a day.

You'll have the opportunity to move around, work independently, solve problems, use different skills, and actually see what you accomplished at the end of the day.

You'll also work with staff, vendors, and other partners to respond to maintenance needs and help make sure our facilities are safe, welcoming, and ready for the people who depend on them.

Sound Like You?

If you're dependable, hands-on, organized, and aren't afraid to jump in when something needs to get done, we'd love to hear from you.

Bring your skills. Bring your problem-solving mindset. We'll bring the variety. Qualifications & Program InformationWhat you need:
