As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor visitor and employee access. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $14.27 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery documentation, and authorized entry to restricted areas.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, truck traffic, and visitor activity; document incidents, irregularities, and access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
