Why This Role Matters

As a Procurement Officer, you play a critical role in ensuring projects and operations have the materials and services they need, when they need them, and at the best possible value. Your work directly supports project delivery by maintaining a reliable supply chain, optimizing costs, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and building strong supplier relationships. Through proactive coordination and effective procurement practices, you help drive operational efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the business.

• Manage the procurement process for general materials and services by obtaining quotations, negotiating commercial terms, preparing bid analyses, and issuing purchase orders.
• Leverage your knowledge of civil materials and project procurement requirements to support project teams effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while collaborating closely with requisition owners and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor and follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any supply issues.
• Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation throughout the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement performance through efficient supplier management and cost-conscious purchasing decisions.
• Take on additional procurement-related responsibilities as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Qualifications

You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have

• Previous experience in procurement within the civil construction industry and a strong understanding of civil materials and services.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement-related software.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Good negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
