Design Manager

About the Role:

We're a leading Saudi Fit-Out Company, operating is looking for an experienced Design Manager to join its Dubai team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing design activities for hotel, hospitality, office, and commercial projects, with the ability to coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout the design and delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process from concept through detailed design and project delivery.
• Coordinate architects, interior designers, consultants, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Review and manage design drawings, specifications, submissions, and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, quality standards, timelines, and applicable regulations.
• Identify and resolve design and technical issues in coordination with project teams.
• Work closely with project management, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth design-to-construction execution.
• Manage design changes, approvals, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in design management or a related role.

• Proven experience delivering hotel and office projects.

• Hospitality project experience is highly preferred.

• Strong experience coordinating multiple design disciplines and project stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of design documentation, technical coordination, and project delivery.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Currently based in Dubai/UAE or available to relocate to Dubai.
