As an Engineering Program Manager, you are responsible for the technical success of the assigned projects. This requires leading technical teams, defining the detailed scope requirements, through co-ordination with internal and external project stakeholders and developing and documenting the design. Validating this with the project stakeholders and coordinating work packages for local and remote project team members.

The role will suit a highly motivated person who enjoys working to the highest standards, in a fast-paced technical environment with a lot of variety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall execution of the systems design, engineering, implementation, commissioning and documentation of a project
• Management of engineering scope and deviation across the portfolios of projects
• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers in delivery of complex building automation projects
• Drive and managing team compliance to Honeywell Engineering methodology and company policies
• Deploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of engineering and commissioning of projects

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Bachelor’s degree either in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• 10 years’ experience in building Automation – 2 years of a leader in that 10 years is acceptable
• Experience in Building Manage Systems (BMS) highly preferred. Security will be considered
• Understanding of project, program management including engineering budget
• Leadership/supervisory experience on relevant projects, with strong on‑site knowledge, design understanding, and coordination capability
• Ability to lead, coach a team, work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment
• Proven track record in building strong relationships with clients and customer engagement
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to requests in a timely manner
• Self-motivated, with the ability to meet deadlines and determine own work priorities
• Can demonstrate financial and commercial acumen
• Ability to travel when required
