About the Role

Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground haulage equipment, transporting ore and waste material throughout the mine while maintaining high safety and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate underground haul trucks in a safe and productive manner
• Transport ore and waste to designated locations underground
• Complete pre-start inspections and basic servicing checks
• Identify and report equipment defects and hazards
• Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and underground crews
• Assist with other underground mining activities as required

What We're Looking For

• Local or DIDO preferred
• Previous underground mining experience operating haul trucks
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Ability to work effectively in a production mining environment
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening
