ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an exceptional commercial leader to join our Cotton On Kids Leadership Team as Head of Product. In this role, you will shape and drive the global product and range strategy for one of Australia's most loved children's brands, ensuring we deliver products that families love while achieving sustainable commercial growth. You will lead the end-to-end buying vision across all categories, balancing customer insight, trend relevance and brand DNA with strong financial outcomes. Partnering closely with Trend, Planning, Production and Marketing, you will influence strategic product decisions, identify growth opportunities and create compelling global assortments that resonate across our diverse markets. As a people leader, you will inspire and develop a high-performing Product team, fostering a culture of commercial excellence, innovation and collaboration to bring the Cotton On Kids product vision to life.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Proven experience in a senior buying leadership role within a global retail or brand environment.
• Experience leading a Buying function at a brand level, with accountability for end-to-end product strategy, trading performance and commercial outcomes across multiple categories.
• Strong ability to develop and execute customer-led product and range strategies that drive commercial growth.
• Deep understanding of range architecture, category planning, pricing strategy and inventory productivity.
• Highly commercial with a strong understanding of sales, margin, sell-through and trading performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights, market trends and trade data into actionable product decisions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams at all levels.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing buying teams in fast-paced environments.
• Global mindset with the ability to balance brand strategy with regional customer and market needs.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Passion for product, customer experience and creating ranges that strengthen brand relevance and long-term growth.
