Pit & Pathway Scoper-269293

This role is critical to ensuring that pit and pipe infrastructure is installed in accordance with NBN Co.standards, while meeting safety, quality and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with construction crews, contractors, Field Supervisors, and project teams to ensure works are delivered on time and to specification across Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba.

This position suits someone with strong inspection experience in telecommunications infrastructure who enjoys working autonomously in the field, while remaining supported by a collaborative project team.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect NBN pit and pipe infrastructure to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Identify defects, non-conformances and safety risks, coordinating corrective actions where required.
  • Complete inspection reports, photos, approvals and remediation updates using digital systems including Apian.
  • Work closely with contractors, Field Supervisors and project teams to resolve quality and compliance issues.
  • Support quality assurance activities to ensure safe, compliant and on-time project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience within telecommunications, civil construction, utilities or related infrastructure industries.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and NBN standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans and scopes of work.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Current Driver's Licence and experience using digital inspection tools.
