Apex Steel & Sheds is entering an exciting phase of growth and expansion, and we are looking for a Welder/Fabricator (Trade Qualified Preferred) to join our newly restructured team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based in our workshop, involving the fabrication and welding of structural steel components, shed frames, and custom steel products.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabrication of steel components
• Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
• Operating workshop equipment and machinery safely
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
• Working collaboratively within a team environment
• Assisting with general workshop duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualification in Boiler making, or Welding (advantageous)
• Experience in steel fabrication and welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
